Notify Service SA you’ve sold a boat

You can submit a Notice of Disposal (NOD) online only if the buyer is from SA. If the buyer is from interstate, you'll need to submit the paper version of the NOD to Service SA instead.
A NOD notifies Service SA that you no longer own the boat. Submitting a NOD may also protect you from being held responsible for the buyer’s offences.
Important: A NOD does not transfer the boat registration. If the buyer is from SA, the boat remains in your name until the new owner completes the transfer.
