What is myLs?

myLs is an online learning and assessment course you can take to get your learner’s permit in South Australia. You must be at least 15 years and 9 months to enrol.

Overseas licence holders can also do myLs if they are required to pass the learner’s theory test in order to transfer their licence.

myLs can take a few hours to finish and can be completed over multiple sessions. There are 3 interactive modules that must be completed to unlock the final test.

You can attempt the course as many times as you need (within a 12 month period) at no additional cost until you pass.

Completing the course does not authorise you to drive. Once you finish, you will be re-directed to log in to your mySAGOV account for your next steps.
